Carrie Fisher mother Debbie Reynolds passes away





What is happening to the current world? Why is 2016 ending on such a heartrending note? after Star Wars’ fame Carrie Fisher(60) breath her last on tuesday, four days after suffering a heart failure on a transatlantic flight. her mother Debbie Reynolds(84), best known for traditional musical “Singin’ in the Rain” died yesterday after suffering a stroke, simply a day after the death of Carrie. As reported  by the USA media, Debbie  had been hurried to hospital in “fair to serious condition,” paramedics told foetoprotein, when collapsing at the beverly hills home of her son Todd Fisher around 1.00 pm

“She wished to be with Carrie,” said Debbie’s son while talking to an industry weekly variety magazine. Celebrity news portal TMZ said reynolds had died “as a results of a stroke.”  TMZ, citing anon. family sources, said reynolds had been at her son’s house to discuss ceremony arrangements when she became sick. “Thank you to everybody who has embraced the gifts and abilities of my beloved and wonderful daughter,” she posted on Facebook following her daughter’s death.”I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are currently guiding her to her next stop.”

Reynolds, who received the Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award last year, 1st captivated audiences in 1952’s “Singin’ in the Rain.” She was later nominated for an oscar and helped found a bunch that works to combat mental health problems. Her 2013 autobiography “Unsinkable: A Memoir” detailed the highs and lows of her rocky personal life and a screen career solid within the glamour of Hollywood’s “Golden Age” which was still going well into the 1990s.

Known at one time because the foremost collector of Hollywood memorabilia, reynolds married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955 and had two kids, Carrie and Todd. The couple single in 1959 when he fell for elizabeth taylor. Born mary Frances reynolds on April one, 1932 in el paso, Texas, the second child of railroad carpenter Raymond Francis reynolds and his spouse Maxine, she came to the notice of Hollywood studio MGM after winning a california beauty contest at age sixteen.




Debbie’s career in cinema was largely over by the 1970s, although she continuing to star in TV movies and series. She also created regular personal appearances, acting on stage and portraying Liberace’s mother Frances opposite michael douglas in 2013’s “Behind the Candelabra.” “Bright Lights: starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie reynolds,” a documentary regarding her relationship with her daughter, premiered at this year’s cannes film festival and is due to air on HBO in March.
